Learn 12 Tips To Take eBay Photos That Sell

As promised, here is a quick guide on taking pictures for your eBay listings.
You can get pictures of your items to be posted on ebay in two ways:
a) With a digital camera – great for products like clothes, mugs, hand phones, pens, clocks and other physical products of different shapes and sizes.
b) With a scanner – great for products like sports cards, postcards, old magazines, old photos and the like.

At times, you may think the lazy way and search for pictures of items through the internet. Pictures are easily available and downloadable, particularly if you are selling branded goods like Nokia, Guess, Ikea or Tupperware. But, this is not recommended from my point of view. You give buyers an impression that
1. you do not have stocks on hand,
2. you are plain lazy,
3. you are a scammer.

So, you have a good digital camera on hand? Good. Now, let’s look at 12 of the most important tips to take photos for your eBay items:
1. Use proper or enough lighting. However, be careful that you don’t have so much light that it over-exposes the image.
2. Outdoor lightings are great, but be caution not to use direct sunlight. Take pictures on your porch, windows or any other place with shades but enough lights to capture a good photo.
3. If you prefer snapping items indoor, make sure there’s plenty of lights as indoor can be dark. Work lamps are great for additional lighting if your items are small.
